I specialize in working with people with all types of eating disorders, but I welcome anyone who is wanting to work through a difficult relationship with their body, maladaptive perfectionism, trauma, anxiety, and over-control.
Clients will sometimes ask me, “can I talk about things other than an eating disorder in therapy?” The answer is an enthusiastic “Yes!” Think of this as talk therapy, but with someone who is very familiar with eating disorders.
I offer individual therapy for adults and teenagers, as well as group therapy.
Group therapy is far more than just individual therapy with an audience! In the words of Louis Ormont "Group therapy has its own logic, its own purposes and its own benefits."
This group is specifically for those dealing with emotional issues connected with food.
