Trauma is part of life. The lasting pain of sexual or physical abuse is obvious, but the subtlety of an emotionally neglectful or spiritually abusive upbringing often has similar outcomes of self-blaming and deep shame. It's by no mistake that my practice is called Likewise; I've struggled through the healing process, and I still get stuck. But I do the work because I value my option to thrive, and am keenly aware my decision to do so affects those connected to me. Whether you're seeking help for others' sake or your own (or both) I'd be honored to support you.
I'm a Brainspotting practitioner (trained in Phases 1-3) & Level 1 IFS-trained therapist, serving adult females. I integrate these brain-body and parts-work frameworks to regulate your nervous system, complete the stress response cycle, and help you discover and unite your inner subpersonalities for deep healing.
Women, I see you, and I see that your anxiety, depression, binge eating, panic attacks, addictions, (and more), are part of a bigger story that needs attention, care, patience, compassion, and honoring, before you can make real, lasting change. Reach out today for the connection you've needed.

I see my clients through a trauma-informed lens. So, rather than looking to answer the question, "What's wrong with you?", I am more interested in, "What happened to you?" Most often we find childhood traumas continuing to play out in present-day. Our work together will be deep and healing, which also means it will take time and effort (as things worthwhile most often do).

I am an IFS-trained therapist, and love this modality for making sense of the varying feelings you have surrounding your experience. When parts of us are given space to be heard and validated for their efforts to protect, they often stop shouting at us through our thoughts, emotions, and somatics. I also find Brainspotting to be profoundly helpful in clearing the body of its held trauma.
