I believe that you are the expert on your experience and take a holistic approach to therapy. I work with people who are dealing with perfectionism, infertility, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, religious deconstruction and trauma. My goal is to empower my clients to practice self-compassion, lean into vulnerability, strengthen their resilience, and create a meaningful life they love. I believe in the power of the mind-body connection and I am passionate about helping people learn to get out of their own heads and into their body in order to calm anxiety, feel more grounded, and regulate their nervous system.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive. I use a combination of evidence-based modalities (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), DBT, mindfulness) and creativity. I work with clients to develop coping skills that help them recognize patterns, create positive habits, and manage stress more effectively.
I believe you can experience discomfort without it overwhelming you and that it is okay to be imperfect. I encourage people to be curious about what they are feeling, develop insight around the stories they tell themselves, and learn to ask for what they want and need.
