Therapy is a delicate balance of acceptance and change. I can guide you through the complex process of change. I am a practitioner of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which I have extensive training and experience with, and also use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trama Focused therapy.
DBT is a therapy technique originally designed to target clients with chronic suicidal thoughts and self harm behaviors. I have been using the skills and techniques for over 20 years to help many individuals with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, Suicidal ideation, self-harm, trauma, bi-polar disorder, and OCD.
