I have worked in a variety of mental health settings throughout my career and I have extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults with a wide range of mental health disorders. I have several years of experience working with individuals with drug and alcohol addictions, including those who use medication-assisted therapies. I enjoy working with clients with a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. I believe there is hope for any mental health challenge.
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as, other modalities to meet the needs of my clients. I use a variety interventions and techniques to meet the individual needs of my client. I am also able to provide faith-based counseling if requested.
I believe all mental health concerns can be overcome. I am passionate about instilling hope in my patients. I believe all people can engage their talents and abilities to have a full and enriching life. I create a safe, supportive, and hopeful environment in which my clients can explore their concerns and empower themselves to make positive life changes.
