My name is Bethany De La Cruz. I received specialized training in child clinical mental health counseling through the world-renowned Center for Play Therapy at the University of North Texas, and am a member of the Ohio Association for Play Therapy. One of my passions is to provide a safe therapeutic atmosphere in which children can freely express thoughts and feelings and increase both self-awareness and self-regulation through play. I also believe in the therapeutic power of family and educators in the life of a child and strongly encourage their involvement in the therapeutic process.
I also offer telehealth counseling for college students, young adults, and parents. These stages can be exciting times of transition and growth but certainly have their challenges. I am glad to provide a convenient, supportive space to process life changes, discuss parenting tips, and sort through thoughts, feelings, beliefs and identity along your journey.
