Welcome! I’m so glad you're taking this courageous step in searching for the right therapist for you. What a kindness you’re already doing for yourself. You might have unresolved trauma, are dealing with the aftermath of a life transition, or maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed and held back..like you aren’t able to live life in the connected way you had imagined. If this sounds familiar, I would love to partner with you. With specialized training in trauma treatment (EMDR), I work with folks from all walks of life who are navigating complex trauma, anxiety, life transitions, boundary setting, and relationship issues.
My passion is helping folks feel safe in their bodies and connected to the more vulnerable parts of themselves. I practice from the belief that authentic growth occurs in the context of a collaborative and nurturing relationship. I especially enjoy supporting those who have experienced religious trauma /those deconstructing their faith.
As Mary Oliver voices in her poem Wild Geese, “You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
