It is not easy to find a therapist, and I would like to make that process easier. I am a psychologist who conducts individual, family and group psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults. My main areas of expertise are trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and relationship difficulties. I work collaboratively with you to employ a therapy approach that fits your preferences and needs, and draws from evidence-based models (such as CBT and DBT) as well as insight-oriented and mind-body approaches.
I aim to listen to you deeply with a nonjudgmental and open attitude. We will explore your experiences and concerns, and move toward practical steps for your growth. We will strive for confidence, contentment, and comfort.
While starting psychotherapy with someone new may be uncomfortable, I assure you that any potential initial discomfort will disappear quickly. Please email me directly at beth@mindbody7.com or call the Mind Body Seven clinic at (212)621-7770. I would be glad to arrange a 15-minute phone consult free of charge as well. Warmly, Beth
