About
If advice from friends and family is not working, it might be time to seek input from a professional. Our team and I have the desire and expertise to help! We create a warm, non-judgmental space where we can identify what is creating stress for you or your family. If you are tired of struggling to enjoy your relationships or day to day life because of pain related to trauma or parenting, let's figure out how to change what you can control and how to cope with things beyond your control.
I specialize in trauma recovery, foster care/adoption issues, child and teen behavioral problems, codependency, and parenting skills training. We use research supported techniques like EMDR, CBT and play therapy to help clients achieve desired goals. We enjoy treating all ages and work collaboratively with other providers involved in client care.
You do not have to face tough moments in life alone. Thankfully, feelings do not last forever despite how it might feel and just waiting, without action, is like rocking in a rocking chair - it keeps you busy but gets you nowhere! Take the next step and call me to see if I or someone on my team can help you go forward.
