When you are chronically exposed to perceived threats in your environment (i.e. illness, loss, financial insecurity) your nervous system becomes dysregulated and you may experience difficulty sleeping and/or concentrating, racing thoughts, tense muscles, lack of motivation and/or joy, and negative thoughts about yourself and/or the world around you. This is your body's way of trying to keep you safe. I have had the privilege of working with adult victims of abuse, military personnel, police/fire, and healthcare workers on the frontlines during COVID-19, and I have seen first hand the power of the human spirit.

I use evidence based trauma treatment modalities (EMDR, CPT, DBT. solutions focused, strength based) to guide you on your journey in healing and discovering your authentic self.
My job is to help you recognize the perceived threats in your environment so you can learn to mitigate your exposure and develop coping mechanisms to promote a sense of safety and autonomy. I believe, that with the right support and guidance, we are all capable of overcoming insurmountable odds.
