Beth Newman
Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT, ATR-BC
I offer an integrative private therapy practice combining expressive art therapy and or traditional talk therapy. Art Therapy is based on self-exploration through the creative process. Using expressive therapies in conjunction with talk therapy and mindfulness-based techniques allows individuals and couples to deepen connection, and to tap into your innate intuitive wisdom which can help you to heal, thrive and grow. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive services that are inclusive, and give voice to our communities varied experiences by providing a safe place to be heard, appreciated, and accepted.
I have over 30 years of experience companioning those who are grieving, exploring identity issues, are in transition, at end of life, living with a life limiting illness, and those seeking to deepen a connection to our innate curiosity, joy, peace and ease.
If planning to use insurance, I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits before our first session: Do I have a deductible? What is it and have I met it yet? What is my co-pay for each session? Does my plan limit sessions per calendar year? If so, what is the limit? Does my insurance plan cover couples?
