I provide support for anyone experiencing any form of distress, depression, or anxiety. This is often expressed as unhappiness with your life, work, or relationships. Overarching my approach is an interest in the creation of meaning. How do you make sense of your experience? What do you want? How do you navigate life’s challenges and build reserves of flexibility and adaptability? Together we can explore these questions of purpose and direction to create new pathways. In addition to working with individuals; I am also a trained mediator and enjoy working with couples and family members on relationship issues.
Along with my Master's Degree in Psychology and clinical training, I have previous experience as an artist and college instructor. I bring a unique background of art, teaching, and mediation experience to my work as a psychotherapist. My therapeutic approach is informed by the various strands of my training involving both psychology and creativity.
Anxious thoughts and isolation can impede our health as well as our minds. As humans we are hard-wired to socialize and band together. We all need each other and resources to help navigate life’s challenges. Psychotherapy can help lessen some symptoms of distress and provide a supportive relationship. I'm available for both in person or teletherapy.
