For me, working with teens and their families, along with couples and individuals, is my vocation rather than my profession. I help families and teens make sense of the struggles faced by kids and their parents today. I help couples rebuild strong bonds. I guide individuals into a heightened awareness of themselves and their world. Another professional AND personal passion is cancer and chronic illnesses in general. Guiding either the patient or caretaker is a new mission for me. I work closely with the sentiments in Dr. Kelly Turner's books - Radical Remission and Radical Hope.
I hold a Master 's degree is in Marriage, Family, Child therapy and am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I also obtained a post dip. in psychotherapy and counseling from the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust. Lastly, I am a Certified Life Coach, through the Institute for Life Coach Training.
