About
If you value experience and need to talk over some painful issues, I would like to meet with you. After over 45 years as a clinical psychologist, I'm still devoted to exploring the personal worlds and relationships of my clients. I take a conversational, collaborative approach to the search for new ways to solve old problems and deepen relationships. Sessions usually occur weekly or at least every other week to maintain a constructive intensity and continuity of effort toward self-awareness and increasing coping skills.
The majority of my clients, whatever their ages, suffer from anxiety and depression and have relationship issues.
They contact me when their personal pain needs a professional ear.
My orientation is eclectic/integrative with heavy emphases on psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioral perspectives.
My goal is to tailor my work to the particular individual in my office in a way that will be most helpful.
