As a psychotherapist and credentialed schoolteacher, I have worked with children of all ages and their families for the past 27 years. This unique background--combining family therapy, human development, attachment, neuroscience, and education provides a strong foundation for meeting client needs and fostering long-term happiness and success. In general, I help clients work with issues of adolescent, child, and infant development. Individuals and families may be facing such challenges as the arrival of a newborn, anxiety, or depression, academic concerns, and life transitions including blended families, divorce, and loss.
Clients feel comfortable to explore and make changes in their family dynamics and everyday habits. Young people can further develop academically, emotionally, and socially. Disruptive issues are clarified, and families are encouraged to follow their unique paths towards growth. The result is greater harmony and capacity to regulate.
I provide a peaceful and well-organized therapy setting with minimal distractions. There are carefully chosen materials and resources for those who I work with: teenagers, children, and adults. With healing as the goal, the therapeutic work may be long- or short-term according to the needs of the client/s.
