Beth Friedberg
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Welcome to my practice. I have over 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy and coaching, primarily within the adoption community. I specialize in addressing unique themes that emerge for adoptees, pre-adoptive and adoptive parents, and birth/first parents. Adoption search and reconnection, questions related to identity and transracial adoption, and understanding the impact of loss are some of the areas that I can help you with. My style is down-to-earth and I have an integrative approach blending psychodynamic, behavioral, and attachment-based therapies.
I also offer short-term, solution- focused parenting support for non-adoptive and adoptive parents, specializing in developing insight and strategies to address anxiety, behavioral issues, and relationship difficulties. I am effective at addressing in-the-moment challenges and can provide on-going guidance as you navigate life transitions.
While I am an out-of-network provider, many insurance plans provide significant reimbursement for therapy. I reserve space in my practice for individuals whose financial circumstances require a sliding scale. Please reach out to me and we can consider payment options together.
