My approach to the therapeutic relationship is to establish a warm, collaborative, supportive, and useful relationship that helps the client meet their personal needs for emotional growth, healthy relationships, and understanding their deep-seated reactions to their environment. I strive to meet people where they are at, without judgement, to help overcome any barriers they are facing externally or internally. I rely on establishing a relationship where all emotions/needs/fears/critiques are welcome, and everything is worth talking through in a safe space. I am committed to anti-racism, queer-friendliness, and I reject diet culture.
Attuned, Non-Judgmental Care: I specialize in trauma treatment & can help individuals recognize and treat historical, intergenerational, relational, & event-based trauma. I believe in the role of attachment-based & somatic-based interventions which allow for healing of the nervous system, including integrative modalities of EMDR and IFS-informed care
