As a mental health professional, I believe in the power of vulnerability and authenticity. And am committed to celebrating diversity and inclusivity in all forms - including cultural, ethnic, spiritual, and gender identities. It is personally important that each client, no matter their background or current life circumstances, feels unconditional acceptance, safety, and genuineness in the therapy space.
My approach is trauma-informed, empowering clients to engage with their experiences, while providing validation & encouragement to find solutions. From applying play therapy with children to guiding teens & adults in processing thoughts & emotions, I use practical, here-and-now approaches that connect past experiences with present feelings & behaviors.
We all have experiences that affect us negatively in one way or another & sometimes processing these things can be challenging. My mission is to be a safe, calming, empathic presence while providing a non-judgmental space for healing & growth. And I consider it a privilege to support each client's well-being and personal journey.
