Anxiety is ruthless. What starts out as a helpful coping mechanism eventually turns into something that can overtake your entire life. Anxiety is helpful in moderation, however, for those with anxiety disorders there is no such thing as moderation. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders both as a solitary diagnosis and as part of a co-morbid struggle. I have experience working with eating disorders and chemical dependency and know how much of a struggle it can be to tackle that and an anxiety disorder.
I specialize in treating all types of OCD, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, trichotillomania (hair pulling), dermatillomania (skin picking), body dysmorphic disorder, specific phobias, agoraphobia, and panic disorder. There is hope in living a life apart from these struggles!
I favor a straightforward approach to treatment and utilize the gold-standard treatment method for anxiety disorders, exposure and response prevention (ERP). You deserve to have your life back!
