Life experiences, past and present, impact us in many ways. Without support, stressful events can lead to overwhelm, uncertainty, or isolation. Untreated stress and trauma may result in anxiety, depression, or PTSD.
Many of my clients have experienced traumatic events in their past or present, and are uncertain of it's impact. Others find current relationships challenging, boundaries lacking, or self esteem low. Therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to dig deep, explore what's ailing you, and find solutions for change and healing.
My extensive training in trauma and interpersonal neurobiology will help you understand your mind, body, and reactions to stress. EMDR, Attachment Theory & Family Systems lend a variety of approaches to assist you. You will gain insight into why you react the way you do, and shed old patterns. Counseling can help you shift into a more adaptive way of life.
