Sometimes life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, making it seem as if we have little control over the path our lives are taking. Trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, and other life challenges can make ordinary life difficult to navigate. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment that allows my clients to gain mastery over their situation rather than allowing their circumstances to run their lives. My therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive, collaborative, unique to each client, and focuses on client strengths.
I frequently utilize EMDR, talk therapy, CBT, resilience-building modalities, mindfulness-based practices, and the creative arts. There is space for a client’s spirituality for those who wish to include it or explore this facet of life. I also work with members of the LBGTQ community and provide letters of support for those seeking medical transition.
Creating change in your life is possible through gaining mastery over circumstances that have held you back from being the person you want to be and living the life you want to live. I am here to support you in walking that path.
