I have trained psychologists, counselors and marriage and family therapists for the last twenty-one years of my career working at Our Lady of the Lake University. I am passionate about helping my clients overcome challenges while ensuring that I am working on what they most want to accomplish in therapy. I incorporate client feedback to make sure that I am being helpful. I love collaborating with people to embrace their strengths and learn to be kind to themselves while they overcome a challenge. It has been my great privilege to watch people work through their personal hurdles and becoming the best versions of themselves.

I have worked with survivors of trauma, grief, depression and social justice issues. I love helping people embrace the things within their control to change. I work from a "strength-based" perspective to avoid losing focus on things that may also be going well. When people are overwhelmed by something, that tends to what they focus on. You are not alone.

I empathize and sit in a place of respect for everyone and particularly people who seek to improve their lives.
