Amidst times that may feel dark, overwhelming, or lacking vitality, anxiety and dissociation can manifest in so many ways that feel fragmenting and harmful to the self and body. We can be strongly defended against our unconscious wishes, fantasies, and unmet needs. How and why we behave, think, get stuck or feel fear, love, shame, and joy are layered with so much meaning. Together, we may find ways to build resilience, find language for the depth of your feelings, take steps toward action, self-awareness, fulfilling connection, and a sense of wholeness.
Matters most difficult to talk about are encouraged and held carefully in my practice. You need a space where you can address and explore your private, internal thoughts and emotional undercurrent that is present day-to-day. If left untended, this is where you will experience mental health symptoms like anxiety, depression, numbness, and disconnection.
I offer psychotherapy primarily to adults and work actively with couples. My specialty areas are around anxiety, developmental, intergenerational, and complex trauma, queer identity, masculinity, relationship issues, existential distress, and spiritual integration.
