My ideal client is also willing to do the work outside of our sessions, in order to address their mental health needs, and be able to function better in their life. I have developed a good report successfully with a great variety of clients, but I appear to develop the strongest rapport with clients who are creative & curious.
I specialize in trauma & PTSD, work a lot with relationship & career/work issues, anxiety, depression, & grief. I primarily use trauma informed & focused CBT, I incorporate other evidence-based approaches, including creative modalities (hobbies, art, music, play, etc.) as is relevant to each individual client and their particular situations.
