I feel privileged to be a psychologist and my therapeutic style reflects this appreciation. Building a trusting, collaborative relationship is at the forefront of my work, though I'm aware this looks differently with each of my clients. I see the process of change as occurring in the context of the therapeutic relationship and by exploring patterns that may be preventing one from living a fulfilling existence. Through the discovery of these patterns, we can begin to understand how to live life more genuinely. I incorporate various therapeutic approaches and interventions, which speaks to our unique needs.
I have worked in college counseling, hospitals, and have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds. My interests include developmental concerns, relationships, gender and sexuality, specifically men and masculinity, and depression and anxiety. In addition to individual and couples therapy, I conduct testing for learning disabilities and ADHD.
We all deserve to experience self-fulfillment and connection in our relationships and within ourselves, and I work with my clients to achieve these goals. Men's Therapy Group
This group may be a great fit for you if you're looking for a supportive space to increase connection. Meeting weekly on Tuesday evenings starting in January 2018, this is a group for male identified persons with the goals of: understanding patterns in relationships, managing anger and frustration, diminishing isolation and loneliness, establishing tools to cope with stress, and improving communication and intimacy.
