Hello! I am a full-time therapist working at a child/adolescent PHP/IOP program. At this time I am only offering professional supervision services, which means I am not accepting clients for therapy. I am looking to connect with providers seeking professional supervision and case consultation (and I am able to sign off on hours of professional supervision toward LCSW licensure for LMSWs in the state of Connecticut).
I may be an especially good fit for providers who feel under-equipped to manage challenging behaviors in children and adolescents (and/or the challenging behaviors of the adults who make up their support systems).
I take an extremely practical approach to clinical social work, rooted in relationship building, education, problem solving, empowerment, advocacy, and competence. Whether working with children or adults, I balance unconditional positive regard for my clients with plain acknowledgement of the very real consequences of their actions on themselves and others.
I have a strong passion for teaching and mentoring. I believe adamantly that clinical social work is most completely effective when it includes true integration and alignment of your personal and professional selves.
