How you were raised and loved is essential to your experience of self and the way you show up in relationships. I believe, at the heart of therapy there is a journey to explore what gets in the way of nurturing deep and authentic relationships that support both togetherness and individuality. I work with couples (queer/hetero, monogamous/open) who experience heartaches around sexuality, trust, infidelity, parenting – as well as couples simply looking for support with growing deeper and being more present with each other and themselves.
I approach my practice and life from an empathetic, nurturing, compassionate and non normative framework, integrating components of attachment-based therapy, sex, and narrative therapies.
The therapeutic space that I offer is committed to both creating safety, while mindfully risking it, to foster movement and change. Treatment length can be brief or longer term according to the issues you bring. Generally, a treatment outline is created in the early stage of treatment.
