I have worked with youth and families since 2007 - clinically since 2012. Much of my focus is on depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-stressors, men's issues, as well as parenting issues. As is frequently said, times are hard right now with significant volatility leading anxiousness, depression, and ongoing uncertainty - it can become exceedingly difficult to meet our needs.
I have an integrative approach; Reality Therapy/Choice Theory (similar to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT), Gestalt Therapy (awareness building), and Trauma-Informed Care model. I focus on unmet needs and resulting distress, as well as building regulation and self-validation skills, evaluating thinking and behavioral patterns.
