My desire is to help you put meaning to your story. Our lives contain pain. It is essential to validate your own pain. This is difficult yet ultimately freeing. The challenging process of grief provides healing and release to celebrate what has been good in your life, identify the good inside you and develop a hopeful vision for your future. I guide with a focus on the present and an eye on the eternal. I'm a former collegiate golfer, current triathlete and Grandpops. I have twenty-plus years of experience in counseling. No relationship provides more joy and pain than marriage. When trust has been broken in marriage the ache is intense. I offer 5 and 10-day marriage intensives in addition to weekly counseling. At times it may seem hopeless, together we can find hope in the chaos.
I have a background working with women dealing with childhood sexual abuse. It is rewarding to walk this journey with a courageous woman seeking freedom from the bondage of abuse. I help guide you through the intense emotions and I'm trained in EMDR for healing of the traumatic memories.
