I help clients with OCD, Panic, Anxiety, and life transition related concerns. I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy along with Exposure Therapy and value teaching practical skills to manage distress. Working together, you will learn to recognize and label symptoms and make manageable changes. We're likely a good fit If you're struggling with intrusive thoughts, ruminating worry, panic attacks, feeling "stuck", or feeling generally dissatisfied. Along with evidence-based treatment, I commit to openness, respect, and professionalism. Like any service, counseling should be useful, effective, and approachable.
With most cases, I utilize an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach. You will learn more about your symptoms, learn to label them quickly, learn to regulate their initial surge when triggered, and to respond without getting stuck in a loop. We will also explore your core value and find ways to actively live your values consistently.
I provide a counseling practice with a focus on client service. Scheduling, billing, and communication should be transparent and convenient. I aim to respond to communication quickly and am willing to answer questions you may have. I personally commit to continually being educated about and an ally for the experiences of marginalized groups.
