I love working with individuals, couples, or families, and my approach is warmly personalized, collaborative, and open-minded. I encourage the balance of brain and body connection, which lends itself to a greater focus within my trauma-informed approach of helping others understand themselves, their behavioral obstacles, and how these instances have affected their lives.
I specialize in EMDR; however, I also use techniques from CBT, DBT, and the therapies of Narrative and Gestalt. I take an integrative approach to healing and work with the whole person not just a set of symptoms.
I have extensive experience working with academic and work stress, relationship problems, marriage and infidelity, substance abuse, body image problems, anxiety, and depression. In my work I incorporate issues of attachment and parenting, femininity/masculinity, and concerns of culture, religion, and self-esteem.
