In therapy I like to focus on helping clients develop an understanding and connection of their behaviors and internal world. This can be for clients with trauma, addictions, emotional dysregulation or interpersonal problems. In neuropsychology I love to help children and adults that are struggling with their school or work responsibilities. There are often subtle cognitive or neuropsychological issues that help explain where their issues are coming from and it is very fulfilling to help clients identify those issues and either resolve or work around them.
My specialties in therapy are IFS and cognitive/behavioral management of psychological issues. In neuropsychological evaluations, I assess a client's cognitive profile using an array of comprehensive and objectively validated measures, which is used to create a personalized treatment plan optimizing functioning.
In both neuropsychology and individual therapy, I often find that clients and especially parents are fascinated by the amount of information provided during an evaluation or discovered through IFS. I help people reach their potential, whether they are struggling with a disability or are looking how to push themselves to the next level.
