About
It is a gift to witness and collaborate as my clients experiment, test-run, practice, and play. My style is warm and I occasionally attempt humor. It takes bravery to enter into conversation about change, much less try on new behaviors. Common topics I work with include: cultivating satisfying relationships, life transitions, anti-oppression, stress, anger, grief, sexual and gender identity, polyamory, wealth and identity, shame, and integrity. I also counsel and consult on recovery from experiences of undue influence, coercion and exploitation, such as those common with con-artists and groups with cult-like features.
I began working in a private practice setting in 2016 during my master's level clinical internship at the Rainbow Health Center in Olympia, WA, under the supervision of Dr. Matt Goldenberg. Before that I worked in community mental health and provided in-school counseling for public schools in Lakewood, Washington.
I hold an MA Psychology degree in the Counseling Specialization program from LIOS at Saybrook University. I graduated from the Evergreen State College with a BA in liberal arts, where I studied social psychology, education, gender studies, and social and racial justice.
