As a certified Brainspotting therapist, we can focus on releasing the painful emotions and reactions to recent trauma or loss that you no longer need dominating your life. These include grief (profound sadness, anger, shame, guilt, numbness and despair) anxiety, flashbacks, nightmares, and depression. The further back the trauma the more challenging it can be, however I try hard to be supportive and help achieve the change you want. I have worked with all kinds of trauma with compassion. I seek to help you achieve vitality, peace, confidence and wholeness in your body. I can also provide Ketamine integration sessions.
Certified in the neurological/neuro-experiential therapy technique of Brainspotting (enhanced mindfulness healing), and trained in Solution Focused Therapy. Training and experience using parts work/Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing, and training in psychedelic integration by Midwest Psychedelic.
More recent (past 1-2 years) trauma and/or loss tend to respond much easier! However people with C-PTSD (childhood abuse) can find our work transformative, but longer and more challenging. I am a local pioneer in offering Brainspotting combined with other therapies. If you feel like you're really ready to heal then you may well be amazed by what you can do.
