Seeking therapy can be an uncomfortable experience that takes a lot of courage. Making an initial appointment is the first step of the process of healing and becoming the best version of ourselves. Therapy allows self-reflection, support, and insight. Although the process is not linear and there may be some painful and halting moments, it is a chance to figure out what is and isn't doing you justice. I view my clients holistically and work collaboratively with them to have a better understanding of how they live their lives and how to achieve better functioning and life satisfaction.

If anxiety feels like an over-caffeinated director running your life, or if trauma feels like quicksand pulling you down, therapy can be the space where you find balance and a way forward. Many of my clients come to their first session feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and weighed down by the pressure of holding it all together. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, or going through a life transition such as pregnancy and postpartum, relationship changes, career shifts, and family adjustments, this can be the safe space for you.

I utilize values-based approaches to help my clients live their most fulfilling life. With a particular focus on ACT, DBT, and ERP (when relevant to treatment), I work to help individuals move toward their desires and goals confidently. I provide clients with tools for empowerment and self-assurance so that they have the ability to feel their very best. It is important to me that my clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by creating a space that is led by compassion and understanding. I believe in the power of personal narratives and in allowing each individual to tell their story free of judgment, shame, or guilt.

Therapy that ignores oppression, becomes oppression. I believe this strongly and so it is my commitment to hold space for all of the inconvenient truths of an individual's experience. Focus areas: anxiety, ADHD/executive functioning challenges, chronic stress, sexual trauma, sexual dysfunction, and gender/sexual identity topics. I have experience working with ethically non-monogamous relationship structures, folks in the kink community and am a sex-worker friendly clinician. I am a good fit for clients that appreciate structure, evidence-based approaches, and collaborative treatment plans that include work outside of sessions.

If anxiety is running the show (intrusive thoughts, second-guessing, social worries, or sudden panic)I’m here to help. I work with people stuck in loops: needing reassurance, checking for certainty, Googling for answers, or replaying conversations to feel ‘complete.’ This may look like: OCD: intrusive thoughts, reassurance seeking, counting/checking, endless reviewing or planning, feeling things must be ‘just right’. Social anxiety: difficulty being your true self, fear of judgment, stress around dating, friendships, or work. Panic: fears of ‘losing control,’ embarrassment, health scares, avoiding trains, work, or daily activities.

I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life whether navigating traumatic life experiences to general life transitions. I utilize modalities such as Mindfulness-Based CBT, ACT, and Trauma-Informed perspectives to gain a deeper understanding and get to the root of why clients may be experiencing certain symptoms. We all have unique and intricate stories that require a similar treatment plan – honoring a person within their values and environment. I support and empower clients as they navigate who they are and what they want while providing the tools and resources to get them there, while using evidence-based interventions.
