As you clarify your goals and move towards attaining them, you will become more aware of your own strengths and options moving forward.
Issues often addressed with clients include assertive communication, anxiety, depression, anger management, stress, self-esteem, parenting, couples/family conflict and child behavioral problems. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Registered Nurse (RN) with over 30 years experience in the mental health field.
Sessions with children ages 2-12 are held in a therapeutic playroom, where they can use toys (their "words") and play (their "language") to express themselves. I received my Play Therapy training at the University of North Texas from Dr. Garry Landreth, an internationally recognized leader in working with children.
