About
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with healing from traumatic/abusive experiences, those who have a poor/disconnected relationship with themselves, and people who want to learn to significantly decrease symptoms of anxiety. I am especially passionate about guiding people through family-of-origin trauma, guilt, shame, and self-criticism.
I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My approach can be described as affirming, empowering, warm, and supportive. I believe it's so important to focus not only on the mind, but on the body and spirit as well.
I value being fully present with my clients, providing a safe environment where you can feel free from judgement. My goal as your therapist is to help you gain deep insight into your struggles, identify unhelpful patterns, and then create the change you desire through actionable and attainable steps. I look forward to working with you!
