Anxiety is a part of being human, but when worry, perfectionism, panic, rumination, intrusive/unwanted thoughts, compulsions & preoccupations take over, you may need new strategies. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, tics, insomnia, indecision, procrastination, depression and overeating & health. I work with children, adolescents and adults to manage these challenges and put into place tools that help you return to a full life again. I have over 28 years of experience offering compassionate, evidence based approaches for these symptoms. I also have expertise in ADHD, 2E, ASD & learning differences in children & adults.
I am interested in you as a person, not just as a diagnosis or label. I draw upon your strengths in a warm, genuine & respectful interaction. I integrate ERP, I-CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ACT, Habit Change & mindfulness along with the latest developments in neuroscience and psychology to provide you with the highest level of care & expertise.
It’s stressful to open up to a stranger about your struggles, worries & intrusive thoughts, especially if you feel embarrassed or ashamed. To help you decide if I am a good match for you, I invite you to take advantage of a free 15 minute phone consultation with me. I welcome LGBTQA+ individuals & I strive to be anti-racist and welcoming to all people.
