Hello everyone — I’m Belinda Bacon, an LCSW and Clinical Therapist based in Laramie, Wyoming. My passion is helping people release the layers of self doubt, shame, and guilt that so often build into anxiety, depression, isolation, and even physical health challenges. I approach this work with deep compassion and empathy. In my experience, unresolved grief is often at the heart of many of life’s complications. We can try to analyze it, outrun it, or avoid it — but none of those paths ease the pain. The hardest and most courageous work is facing grief directly and allowing yourself the grace to be vulnerable.
One of my strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with people from all walks of life — no matter your background, income, or the challenges you’re facing. My goal is to walk alongside you as you rediscover yourself, work through shame and fear, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
Many of us move through life with our jaws clenched, our stomachs tight, and our shoulders lifted toward our ears without even realizing it. I support clients in developing the self-awareness needed to recognize how stress and old trauma become stored in the body — and how to gently create relief and healing.
