I believe that counseling can be beneficial for any person in any stage of life you are in, especially in places you’ve been feeling stuck. Each person has his or her own individual story. My goal as a counselor is to be a process consultant as you find your own healing. I have experience with clients with trauma, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. I love being creative with each client and figure out what is helpful in session, as some people tend to do well with talk therapy but others with somatic experiencing. This is a collaborative process!
I specialize in counseling adolescents (ages 12+) and adults. Within these populations, I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma, have suicidal ideation, and I utilize somatic practices, EMDR, and TFCBT.
