We are an agency that provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and educational services to children ages 3-21 through their local school district. We work with many school districts throughout Suffolk County, supporting children with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges. We use your child's IEP, assessments, parent and teacher interviews, etc, to assist in prioritizing and addressing challenges that are affecting your child's progress in school and home.
We work with the child, family and school team to replace non-functional behavior with behaviors that support your child's progress. We use ABA methodology to identify the function of the behavior, ie, Sensory, such as anxiety; Escape, often due to skill deficits; Attention, of peers or adults, and Tangible, ie, toy, sticker, etc.
Some behaviors addressed are school avoidance, non-compliance, tantrums, social skills, and ADLs. We offer: ABA home services in a 1:1 format with your child; Parent Counseling & Training; Home instruction; School Consult.
