BMHC assists individuals, families, groups and organizations throughout Long Island NY and the five boroughs of New York City with mental health counseling, trainings and presentations as well as technical and management assistance. Our office is located in Lynbrook NY. Sessions may be held in person in our office or by telehealth. We now also offer telehealth services in the states of Florida, Delaware, South Carolina and Vermont. Through our clinical practice we provide counseling, psychotherapy, clinical assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, case management, prevention, discharge, and aftercare services.
My areas of specialization include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger's Disorder and Autism, Learning Disabilities/ Developmental Disabilities, Psychological/ Psychiatric/ Emotional functioning (e.g., depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), Anger/ Stress Management and gambling addiction.
I am dedicated to the optimal functioning of my patients. I use standard mental health assessments and evaluation protocols, develop patient psychosocial histories, write treatment plans, document patient progress, facilitates consultation and referral with other providers, and implement discharge plans.
