People enter into therapy for a variety of reasons such as; having experienced a recent or past trauma, struggling with anxiety, depression or a life altering event. Ultimately, we all want to feel better and live more productive lives. I believe that therapy is a collaborative endeavor which takes place in an open and non-judgmental environment. My role is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, what motivates their behaviors and how they can bring about the desired changes.
I am psychodynamically trained and EMDR certified. I use a variety of techniques in my practice including insight-oriented talk therapy, EMDR, relaxation and guided imagery. I have a general practice and treat a variety of issues including trauma.
I bring over 30 years of experience to my practice. I work with individuals, couples and families. I also do interventions and provide consultation to other professionals.
