I have worked best with individuals, ages 3-70, families, parent-child dyads, and couples. My work with individuals if focused on meeting the individual where he or she is. I believe all individuals can benefit from having an additional support to help them cope through difficult times in their lives. In particular, I have extensive experience working with families, children, and schools when completing both psychological assessments and psycho-educational assessments.
I am an open, warm, empathetic therapist who understands each individual is impacted by the multiple systems of which they are integrated in. I work with the client to help them find balance, strength, and belief in their own ability to cope with the difficulties in their life.
For children under the age of 5, I work with a parent-child dyad to focus on the relationship between child and parent in order to address issues included but not limited to behavioral difficulties, trauma, and relationship difficulties. In therapy, we focus on re-establishing the bond between child and parent.
