I offer therapy to children, adolescents, and families. While I have experience with a variety of presenting concerns, I have a special interest in helping children and adolescents cope with anxiety, specific phobias, selective mutism, OCD, and family conflict. I am also dedicated to coaching parents on the best ways to support their children through anything life throws their way. Whatever the reason for coming to therapy, we will work together to identify the barriers that are maintaining your struggles and draw from your strengths to identify tools to help you through it!
I graduated from the Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the Family Institute at Northwestern University. I use an Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST) approach that primarily draws interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT).
Finding the right therapist can be difficult at any age, and many parents worry about if their child will open up. I am committed to meeting each client(s) where they are at and bring my authentic self to our sessions in providing warm, yet direct feedback. I encourage you to schedule a complimentary 15 minute consultation to see if we may be a good match!
