Our emphasis is childhood mood and behavioral disorders, as well as learning difficulties. We perform psychoeducational evaluations for possible LD/ADHD; we also treat depression, anxiety, and behavioral problems in a non-medical, family-based context.
Connecting with children, adolescents, and their parents is our specialty. We encourage parents to establish and maintain their position of authority in the home and to use their position of power and love to effect positive change in their children's lives.

This began began as a response to the slew of professionals who seem so eager to diagnose children with "diseases" and treat with medication. We do not diagnose except when necessary and we don't recommend medications for what are usually quite normal social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive problems.
