People go to therapy for a multitude of reasons and in response to a multitude of problems, but the primary reason is to feel better about situations, about relationships and, of course, about themselves. My job as a therapist is to provide a safe environment in which to explore these problems and help my clients discover and experiment with ways of thinking, feeling and behaving that will help them achieve these goals.
I have 34 years of experience and am trained in individual, couple, and family treatment. I employ various techniques: EMDR, insight oriented talk therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am a certified EMDR therapist. My style is relaxed, interactive and I endeavor to provide a warm, non-judgmental and empathic environment.
My office suite is conveniently located in Southeast Evanston, approximately one block from both the Main Street Metra and Purple Line El stops. There is on-street parking and a public, metered parking lot adjacent to the building.
