Therapy is about diving deep into those places where we get stuck and find conflict both internal and external. I often work with folks who see life as driven by how they experience life acting on them versus how they can engage it differently. It takes commitment and courage to become self-aware and actively ask and act on what they want different from life. I seek to provide a space for clients to be real and authentic. I help folks rewrite internal narratives to achieve the life and relationships they want. I offer therapy in both English & Spanish.
I approach therapy taking into account systemic, cultural, relational and value-based influences. I work as a process consultant: identifying perceptions and damaging cycles to reorient the individual/s to gain new insights, try new approaches, and develop skills that will enable them to be successful and develop further long term even after therapy.
I work with individuals on building self-knowledge, self-awareness, self-confidence, emotional intelligence, interdependence, and aligning their actions as it relates to their named values. This work always requires a certain amount of healing and deposition toward growth. It's my goal to empower clients to reach their goals.
