You're your best expert; my role is as counselor and coach. Specialties include relationship and family issues, parenting, postpartum adjustment, fertility issues, perimenopause/menopause, depression/anxiety, codependency, grief, childhood trauma/loss, self esteem issues and life transitions. My goal is for you to leave therapy with a sense of relief from your struggles and tools to cope with what's to come.
My style is interactive and informal. I listen, ask questions and provide feedback and education. Each session is tailored to my client's needs, using primarily a cognitive-behavioral approach, with coaching, existential, and mindfulness techniques as appropriate. I also provide education on the how the brain affects mood and anxiety when relevant.
Most weeks I'm in the office Monday-Thursday with sessions from 9-4. I typically work 1-2 days/week early eves and 2-3 Fridays month until 2pm, but these appointments are high demand. I do not work weekends. Virtual sessions remain an option, and I am seeing vaccinated in-person clients. Demand prevents my ability to offer free consults at this time.
