HELLO. I am Sylvia Cabrera- Smith, the Program Director of Behavioral Health Associates (BHA), a Clinical Private Practice group, established in 2003, registered with the NYS division of Professional Service Corporations. We provide state of the art psychiatric and psychotherapy services to a diverse Long Island population.. Our Associates are licensed Social Workers, and Psychiatric Nurse. We work with adults, adolescents and children. Our primary focus is to provide evidence-based behavioral health care within a sensitive multicultural/bilingual environment. We have offices in Rocky Pt. and Wading River, NY.
Our clinical staff provide evaluations, treatment and medication management associated with a wide variety of behavioral health issues and disorders, within a professional private practice setting. Inclusive of individual psychotherapy / counseling related to issues of low self- worth, self esteem, and the LGBTQ community.
We accept most commercial, Managed- Medicaid -and Medicare plans. We offer a sliding scale / out of pocket plans.
